Hmmm there are so many exciting things going on!!!

One would have to be the research proposal we created for the research I currently work on. I remember the months it took to put together. The late nights after work I would be sat there researching how we could make muscle, previous research, gaps in the field. Heading to events where I thought funders might be or even just going to places I thought they might hide!

It was all worth it when the funding came through. New Harvest emailed me when I was working at a festival. I have been on cloud nine ever since!

I think nothing worth having is easy, and when you work for something you truly appreciate it!

That’s an interesting (good) question Seth.

For me it was re-launching an older product which we hadn’t made at the company for 10 years. We needed to purchase new equipment, re-trial the line, develop new packaging and commission new machinery with a deadline to be in the supermarkets for a huge new product launch.

I learnt a lot about how we make and process products as well as how the whole line interacts from mixing products to baking and then packaging them. It was a really busy but rewarding 6 months and a time I really look back on with good memories.

In my current job we have spent a lot of time developing the hydroponic vertical farm that was installed in a public space two years ago. It was fantastic and very rewarding seeing people excited asking us questions about how it works.
