Mine was a mix of a cultured meat final year project (serendipity), an amazing supervisor (Dr. Marianne Ellis) and incredible support group/now my funders (New Harvest) and the realization that we could use engineering to change to world for the better 🙂

I really enjoyed working out how things worked when I was younger, this then transferred into design and technical subjects at school. I never really knew too much about engineering until I enrolled onto an engineering course at a local college (after completing my GCSE’s) but as soon as I started I realized that it was a perfect fit for me.
I still enjoy the problem solving, challenges, designing, and technical aspects of engineering today
