      Great question!
I’d want the money to be spend on inspiring you guys to carry on studying science and engineering with a view to work in the food industry. I find inspiration in seeing, touching and feeling so I’d like to see it spent on a practical demonstration to bring it all to life!

I’d like to see it spent on showing students all the different things that engineers do in the real world. There is a ridiculous amount of thought that has went into the food you eat, the buildings you live in and the technology you use every single day.

I don’t think anyone is here purely for money. It’s all about giving you a glimpse into engineering and inspiring you to do something different!

Ahh nice question! I agree with the other guys wholeheartedly!

I hope that it will go into engaging students (like you guys!) and beyond in science, engineering, art, design and everything else current engineers are involved in. Plus the infinite possibilities of a career in engineering. Maybe you will make biscuits, chocolate and new meats, or maybe create something we can only dream of now.

I think it’s all our aims to break down the stereotype of an ‘engineer’, and show the diversity of engineers out there!

We are a nutty lot 🙂

For me I would be happy if one of the five engineers helps to contribute by raising the awareness of food/food engineering in schools. This will hopefully inspire some of you to wanting to join us in shaping the industry of the future.
